So, you've just got a shiny new phone? You can't put it down and you don't know how you ever lived without it. Unfortunately, theft of smartphones is on the rise. Even if disaster strikes, it helps to be covered.

All of our Three SOS policies protect your phone against accidental damage, theft and loss whether you're on Prepay or Bill Pay.

If it's lost, stolen or damaged, you need a fast, simple solution. That's what you will get with Three SOS underwritten by Zurich Insurance plc. Within 48 hours of loss or theft you must report to the Gardaí and get in touch on 1913 to suspend your SIM. Fill out the claim form and get it stamped by the Gardaí.

You’ll also need to complete and submit a claim form in the event of a damage claim.

Don’t forget – your registered SIM must be in your phone at the time of the incident.

How to Claim:

Damaged, lost or stolen your phone, here's what to do...

Damaged Phones

Download and fill out the form.

If the phone is beyond repair (eg – in pieces or crushed) send it back with the form. Otherwise, hold onto the phone and Phonecover will arrange a courier to collect it. We’ll also provide a loan phone if requested.​

Repair of the phone will take 5-7 working days on receipt of the damaged phone.

Lost or Stolen Phones

Make sure you contact us to suspend your SIM on 1913 within 48 hours of loss/theft.​

Complete the claim form, give detailed information on both circumstances of loss/theft. Ensure your phone is stamped by the Gardai – for both lost and stolen claims.

Claim will be processed and Phonecover will be in touch to provide a replacement phone, usually within 24 hours of receipt of an approved claim form.
