How to top up

Yes, you can. You can top up friends and family member with Three by;  

• Calling 1744 and follow the prompts 
• Using our instant top up tool online 
• Opening the My3 app, logging in and selecting Top up

Three offers a scheduled top up service so you’re never left without credit in a pinch. All you need to do is login to your My3 account online or through the app, click Schedule Top Up on your dashboard, and follow the prompts on screen. 

Changing your top up method is easily be done. The first thing you’ll need to do is log in to your My3 account either through your online account or through the My3 app. Once you’ve logged in follow the below steps;  
1 - Click Top Up Now 
2 - Select Payment Methods 
3 - Click Edit 
4 - Enter the new details 
5 - Click Save 
 
Please note that if you experience any difficulty adding your new card details, you may need to delete your previously saved card. 
  
Alternatively, if you want to pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal: 

• Choose Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal as your payment method in the payments section. 
• If using Apple Pay, ensure you're on a Safari browser (Mac only) or any mobile browser.  
• If using Google Pay or PayPal, it works across all supported devices and browsers. 

Yes, you can. You can do an instant top up using Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal and you can use them for scheduled topups.   
To use Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal for an instant top up, visit our instant top up page, enter your details and select your chosen payment method.  
To set up a scheduled top up using your Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal account, login to your My3 account or My3 app. Select Schedule Top Up from your dashboard, enter your details and select your chosen payment method. 

If something has gone wrong don’t worry, we’re here to help. The first thing to do is check the payment in your online banking, has it completed or is it pending. If its pending, then the top up has failed and the funds will appear back in your account in the next 3-5 working days.  
If the payment has completed, double check your My3 account by clicking View history in your online account or Balance & top up history in your My3 app. If you can see it, then it has applied and there’s no need to worry. 
If the top up doesn’t appear in your My3 account, please contact our messaging team for next steps.
