Jafaris’ energy and infectious live performances have made him one of Ireland’s most promising hip-hop stars.

The music video for his track “If you love me” was directed by New York-based visionary director, Shane Griffin, and centres on two people for whom a song serves as a reminder of their past together.

The duo mix a distinct sound of Celtic harp, 60’s folk and electro-pop to create their unique sound. Nominated for Choice Music Prize ‘Song of the Year’ they release their eagerly anticipated debut album in October.

Directed by renowned filmmaker, Brendan Canty, the second video in the series tells the unique story of a young couple’s relationship, with their personal ‘connection’ very much at the heart of the narrative.

Having been championed by everyone from Annie Mac to DJ Yoda, the producer and multi-instrumentalist has performed at every festival from Sonar and Glastonbury to Bestival and Electric Picnic both solo and with his 11 piece ensemble, Kormac’s Big Band.

Directed by the award winning William Armstrong, the final music video series follows the story of a young man from Soweto, one of South Africa’s largest townships, and the people closest to him. Music connects the three friends in this film, and they use it to psych themselves up for this exhilarating past time.
