Three Ireland pledges its commitment to maintain the current roaming arrangements in the UK after Brexit

Three Ireland is the only Irish mobile operator to make this commitment to its customers.

3rd April 2019: Three, one of Ireland’s leading mobile operators with 2.2 million customers, has today pledged its commitment to offer the same benefits to its customers when roaming in the UK after the UK leaves the EU.

This commitment is regardless of whether it is a No Deal or negotiated Brexit.

Robert Finnegan, CEO, Three Ireland said “Brexit is causing a lot of uncertainty in Ireland amongst businesses and consumers.  The reintroduction of roaming charges is a real concern especially for those living in border areas and for customers who travel regularly to the UK.

We are taking the industry lead on this issue and giving the assurance to our customers that the roaming experience that they have in the UK today will continue after Brexit, whatever shape that takes.

Our sister network, Three UK, has made the same commitment so Three customers north and south of the border do not need to worry about the reintroduction of roaming charges after Brexit” he added.
