Insider Perspectives

What business people say about their businesses and technology is revealing. When industry experts chime in, it’s insightful. That’s why we brought together four experts in technology and business to discuss the results of a survey of Irish small and medium-size businesses.

Their perspectives provide unique insight into the kinds of technology businesses will be investing in to help them grow in 2017 (and where you could invest too).

In an earlier blog (see here) we shared what business owners and managers had revealed as their business priorities for the year ahead. Now we have brought together a panel of industry experts to review what we learned from those people on the ground, and to add their own insights.

Their unique perspectives on the current state of technology in Irish business will give you some highly valuable insights into how businesses like yours intend to grow in 2017. The comprehensive survey of Three’s small-medium size business customers revealed some interesting trends in business priorities and strategic plans for 2017. To explore these, we lined up four well-known names in ICT, each with a unique perspective on, and relationship with, business technology.

John Kennedy is an award-winning journalist and editor of Silicon Republic, which has won the Irish Web Awards’ Best Technology Site seven times. Padraig Sheerin, Head of SME at Three, and John O’Sullivan, Business Specialists Manager at Three, each have almost two decades of experience in business communications and leadership. Finally, Colin Ashmore, Unified Communications and Data Solutions Architect at Three, works directly with customers across Ireland to design ICT solutions that will help them grow and succeed.

Put together the thoughts of four wise men and the survey responses of a wide range of Irish business people, and you get a unique perspective on investing in business growth for 2017.

Ones to Watch

Security, the cloud, and digital connectivity will be key areas of importance in the coming year. Building and maintaining lasting relationships with customers is the new competitive battleground. There’s also now an understanding that marketing and sales outcomes are often directly affected by the technology infrastructure and systems that are in place.

In our Insider Perspectives report, you can discover the seven key technology areas our experts highlight as the ones to watch: the technologies that will help your business to create better connections with your customers, and to grow.

Get the guide now because, as you can imagine, when four ICT veterans get together, that’s not all they have to say.
