What is the National Broadband Scheme (NBS)?

The NBS is a government sponsored initiative to bring broadband to areas in Ireland where it was previously unavailable. The Government awarded Three the contract in December 2008 and since then we have been extending our network to provide broadband to these areas.

The NBS roll-out is now complete. We've already built Ireland's largest high speed mobile network and now that we have completed roll-out of the NBS Scheme, our customers have an even bigger, better, faster network.
