4G is sometimes described as LTE (long term evolution). Depending on the type of phone you have you will see either "4G" or "LTE" at the top of your screen. Both mean you are connected to 4G.
In order to connect to the 4G network you will need an approved 4G ready smartphone, live in a 4G coverage area and have the most up to date software on your phone. If you were previously an o2 customer you should check that your SIM will work with 4G by Free texting "SIM" to 50272. If your SIM is not 4G compatible visit any 3Store to pick up a free 4G SIM.
