Credit Insights is a database service available to the telecommunications providers participating in the Credit Insights initiative. The database contains some details of individuals who have not paid their bills with the participating telecommunications providers and have been in arrears for a minimum of 90 days. The telecommunications provider of the defaulting individual submits the defaulter details to the database.
The Credit Insights database is accessible by the participating telecommunications providers only when individuals are seeking to enter a new contract with that service provider.
Three will write to every qualifying customer at least 28 days before loading their details into Credit Insights. This gives the customer sufficient time to pay their bill and avoid their details being loaded in to the database.
You have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you in Credit Insights. We will charge an administrative fee of €6.35 to provide a copy of any data held and we may request a copy of ID to confirm your identity or proof of address so we send your data to the correct place. To make such a request, please write by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to the Data Protection Officer, Three Ireland (Hutchison) Limited, 28/29 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2.
